The German name has got two meanings. Firstly it means the animal "marsupial" and secondly it means a combination of the words "bag" and "animal".
I like the idea of giving favourite and therefore wellworn jeans "a second chance" by making shopping bags or tote bags out of them. I like doing that not only because it is sustainable but also because the bags are practical everyday companions that are one of a kind and look cool as well.
